(-)28’ Cape Dory CD28$12,900Montclair, NJ1976 Cape Dory 28 ‘Liberty’ For Sale: $12,900/obo There isn’t another Cape Dory 28 on the market anywhere that has as beautiful interior as Liberty has. I spoke to the original owner, who sailed her extensively around the Caribbean and Virgin Islands, and he told me that he hired a woodworker in the Caribbean over 2 years to complete the custom interior woodwork and it shows! She is full keeled and build very heavily for blue water sailing. I have lived aboard for the past 5 years, and since her hull and deck are so stout, heating in the winter wasn’t much of a problem. This is certainly one of the most if not the most economical ways to live close to the city. Perhaps one of the greatest benefits of Liberty Landing Marina is the free parking included (2 spaces). I’m in the process of finishing the exterior woodwork, and have 2 coats so far…looking more and more beautiful! Universal 25XP runs like a top, and I replaced the original Hurth transmission with a brand new Twin Disc TMC40 and she runs and sounds great! She’s up on the hard right now awaiting bottom paint and a few other things. More photos to come… Many extras including: – Extra set of sails including storm sails original sails and spinnaker. – Canvas cover – Cockpit cushions – Various extra lines for mooring, etc…

Bill Garden Pinky Schooner

Price:-$8,000
Location:-Victoria bc

(-)Bill Garden Pinky Schooner$8,000Victoria bcI have a Bill Garden designed Pinky Schooner that I’ve owned for about 16 years, she was built in 1951. I’ve lived aboard for about 5 of those years, including a year at the northwest school for wooden boatbuilding in Port Townsend. She is registered in BC, but is also a documented vessel with the US Coast Guard and has had use tax paid in Washington State. I’ve done two major refits on Sea Lark since I’ve owned her, once to replace some hull planks and once to build a new mast. I began to restore the decks to brightwork a few years ago and have to face the fact that I’ve run out of steam, and now I’m getting ready to move for work. The boat is safely protected in a boathouse with the masts down, but I need to find someone to take her over. She’s a lovely schooner, yellow cedar on oak, with a great history and a solid yanmar engine. There’s more information at derekja.com and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions! (I care much more about her going to a great new home than I do the sale price, but her last survey had her at about $25k USD and at my $8k asking price we’re getting pretty close to what I’d get if I parted her out, but that would be a tragic end to a fantastic old girl. Interesting trades, etc. are also considered.) Thanks!

48 Dromor Triton for sale or trade for up to 40 foot

Price:-£80,000
Location:-Athens, Greece

(-)48 Dromor Triton for sale or trade for up to 40 foot£80,000Athens, GreeceSELLING or TRADING our beloved 48 foot sailing boat called Sibilla. We would like to trade her in for a boat up to 40 foot (ie HR352). We are only selling it because we would like to sail all year and not only 2 months per year as per now, which we do, due to greek taxing. As greek residents we are taxed for when the boat is in the water! The Dromor 48 was designed by the Greek naval architect Triantafillopoulos specifically to sail well in the challenging Aegean waves. She is from 1993, we bought her 2007 and have continuously updated her. She was 6 to 8 weeks in the water and than lifted straight on dry dock the remaining of the year, each year. We just came back from sailing the cyclade islands freshly rigged beginning of july 2019 and she proved amazingly sturdy with 8 bft and 3 small children on board. The huge water tank (500L) lets you set sails for weeks and weeks… The game changer for me was: saltwater pump in the kitchen for cleaning the dishes, the lazy jack and the roll bar to lift the dinghy. 2 solar panels leave you worry free with LED lighting and our kitchenstove is in pristine condition (oven never used). AMPLE space: My husband uses the whole double back cabin as bricolage room. In the last years following items have been renewed: 2010 New bowthruster, new Raymarine D70 (GPS, Fishfinder) 2011 Watertanks 2013 Complete plumbing of the boat. All through hulls and valves exchanged. All hatches have been re-embedded. Electric control panel renewed. 2013 New Mainsail with lazy jack system and new Genua (125%) . 2015 Photovoltaic, 2x180W panels 2017 New engine base. Steering base refitted. New VHF. 2018 Spray hood. Rollbar with ability to lift Dinghy. 2019 Complete rigging renewed. Yacht Model: Dromor Triton 48 Length: 14.02m Yacht type: Berths: 10+1 Year Built: Cabins: 4+1 Toilets: 1 (ready for total of 3) Water Tank: 500ltr Fuel Tank: 320ltr Engine: Yanmar 88Hp Standard equipment – Included in price Battened Main Sail 2013 Wind Instruments 2019 Lazy Jacks and Bag 2013 Electric windlass Electric Fridge Furling Genoa 2013 Bimini Gas Bottle Cockpit shower Sprayhood 2018 Dinghy with Outboard (2.3hp) Boarding ladder GPS (Raymarine D70i with fishfinder module) Autopilot 12 Volt Socket Bow Thruster Lewmar Delta 23 Kg (2017) Solar Panels (2 x 180W) Roll bar with ability to lift dinghy Rigging refit in 2019 Taxes paid

I have been living on and converting houseboats for decades, I founded and still run The Houseboat Centre, because people who wanted to buy and sell houseboats came to me for help, some from as far away as America, Australia and South Africa. Many of those from abroad were planning to live in the UK, but were horrified by the cost of housing here. Naturally I was able to help many of them find their affordable dream home afloat. Many of those who contacted me were Houseboat owners who asked me to help them sell their boats. What started as a passion and helping others ~in the same boat~ became a fulltime occupation and gave me even more contact with many more houseboats, boat owners and always, of course, in-depth question and answer sessions about their houseboats, their original good ideas, the problems they met and how they overcame them. Most importantly, The Houseboat Book offers guidance for the future. . which means you can make a truly informed decision about buying your houseboat. Even if it means you decide that it is not for you, you will know that your decision is based on good information., My goal in writing this book is to get the real message out about houseboats. To that effect, I want to make sure you are armed with as much information as possible. While I hate to force you to commit to anything you are uncomfortable about, I do insist you commit to your making well informed decisions.
