This is my Etchells I’m selling. I raced these in SF Bay in the 90’s and bought this one when I returned to Connecticut. There were no fleets near me, it was a long haul, so I added an electrical system and went over the whole boat including re-coring almost the entire deck. New paint, perfect bottom, with Baltoplate sanded to 600 or 800 grit. it is so smooth nothing sticks to it. Depth finder because I feel it is essential to know your depth, and I added lights including compass lights, under deck lighting, battery charger. I was going to add a tiller pilot but never got around to it. I think I started prepping the hull to tab in a mount. Teak decks. A set of newer sails, plus a few originals stored in the attic. Solid single axle trailer. Tire are old, but were protected from the sun and have no wear. Last time I looked there was no sign or dry rot. Surge brakes worked last time I used it. Trailer lights are all new and work. About me: I’m a pro sailor, long time delivery captain, USCG licensed, RYA Yachtmaster Ocean, US Navy Offshore Skipper (Instructor). I’m more into ocean sailing these days. Great boat for fun day sailing or night sailing. Handles like a dream I have a side mounting bracket for an outboard, but I never used it. I prepped the area where it goes, three holes and some backing plates and you could get it working again. It came with an old seagull, which I gave away. I thought about putting a small trolling motor on for getting in and out of the harbor, but never needed it. It is a 30′ boat but handles like a dream. I sailed it in and out of the dock easily. Asking a ridiculously low $3000 for it. The trailer is worth $1500.
