Lady Morgana is 40ft of lovingly renovated Narrowboat. She’s suitable for holidays or as a home for an individual/couple.
Originally dating from 1986, the renovation includes all new insulation and ash panelling, with new fixtures and fittings.
The living area comprises a kitchen with gas cooker and ample storage. The seating area can be used as a sofa, dinette or converted into a second double bed for visitors. It’s recently been covered in beautiful read and cream wipe clean leatherette, or for those times when you want a more cosy feel, there is a fleecy cover.
There is a boatman Mulitfuel stove in the living/ kitchen area which kicks out plenty of heat to make the whole boat cosy.
The main bedroom is cabin bed style, with an extra thick mattress on the bed for comfort. There is ample storage under the bed, shelves for everyday items and a 24inch TV.
The bathroom is at the rear, and features a full size shower, full size sink and cassette toilet.
The engine room has been overhauled and insulated. It was reconfigured you maximise storage and use as a utility/drying room.
The landrover series 2 marinised Diesel engine has been completely overhauled with most small components replaced. New diesel tanks were recently installed.
Last blacked in 2019, a new prior rope was also installed at this time. Her host safety certificate is valid until 2024.
Solar panels on the roof can be used to generate most of the required energy consumption 9 months of the year (660w set up). She has a 2kw inverter and 240v hookup for the remainder of the year.
The exterior paintwork was redone in 2018 New cratch, tonneau and side hatch covers were made to fit at this time.
Currently located in Smethwick, lady Morgana has all the comfort and amenities of a much larger boat. She has all the required equipment for liveaboards or use as a holiday home and is set up for either continuous cruising or connections on a permanent Mooring. There’s even a kayak if you are the most adventurous type.
