AYB’s commitment to cutting-edge technology began at the dawn of the internet age. Our founder, Hon. Chairman David Greenaway, a Microsoft Certified Professional, was already a pioneer in hypertext database programming in 1989, even before the World Wide Web proposal gained widespread attention. This deep-rooted understanding of digital possibilities continues to drive AYB’s approach.
This innovative spirit was also evident in “The Houseboat Interviews,” a groundbreaking service that meticulously guided individuals worldwide in their search for the perfect houseboat. This unique methodology is now captured and available in “The Houseboat Book” – a testament to our enduring commitment to expert guidance.

AYB has consistently championed advanced IT solutions for yacht brokers. As early as 2006, we implemented and recommended cloud-based office IT using WebOffice (then owned by Cisco), predating Microsoft’s entry into cloud services by several years. Championing Professional Standards
Recognizing the need for formalized expertise, AYB was instrumental in researching and initiating Yacht Broker Certification in the UK. Our efforts paved the way for aligning UK standards with the reputable CPYB (Certified Professional Yacht Broker) designation in the USA, a benchmark swiftly adopted by the largest UK yacht broker organizations. This commitment to elevating professional standards remains at our core.
