(Rules as published for each of the 40 Yachts Classifieds groups on Facebook )

 1. Yachts Classifieds 60 groups are for AYB Members.

Anyone can join the group to see the posts.
No links images or adverts in Comments, just sincere questions from interested buyers.

Before posting you must apply to join AYB on https://aybro.com/join

You become a provisional member of AYB as soon as you post.

2. Post in Yachts for Sale group FIRST

1ST Join “Yachts for Sale” Group. Post & share from there
https://www.facebook.com/groups/sellyachts

Post to other Yachts Classified groups where the title fits.
https://classifieds.yachts

3. Use the “Sell Something” option.

DO NOT “start a discussion”
The discussion area is reserved for informational posts by AYB administrators

Facebook won’t allow “Pages” to sell in any “For Sale” group.

Switch your Facebook identity back to your personal profile before posting.

4. Enter accurate “Title”, “Price” and “Location”.

Enter each where indicated. (no weblinks in the title).
Give some useful info in TITLE.
Include Year, Length, Make, Model.
For LOCATION put your nearest City (not zip or postcode)

5. Enter a very detailed description.

Minimum of 20 characters. Minimum 3 photos in ads.

You may only link back to your own website as shown in your Directory entry in the Associated Yacht Brokers website.
If you are not in that Directory, you are not a member of AYB and should not post here anyway. See Group Rule 1.

Here you can also explain your actual price is in e.g. US dollars and what other services you offer.

6. Now Post to other groups – and Marketplace.

Post to all Yachts Classified groups where your item fits the group title… https://classifieds.yachts

(NB feet are not metres, https://classifieds.yachts/convert )

Take great care not to mis-post.

7. Service providers must post an example for sale.

Choose one example offer, with price, to sell in each post (you can still add the full description of all the other services you offer in the description field) You can post many different examples.

8. Don’t post same item twice in one group

To update your post, edit it OR delete it and post again. . (You CAN “Post to other groups”). 

9. No “wanted” ads.

Group members only want to see items for sale.

To find your next boat, go to https://classifieds.yachts and visit the appropriate groups.

10. No videos.

Our large groups attract porn spam and strange animal videos, so we have arranged with Facebook for all posts with videos to be automatically rejected.
